Moving to the east coast of Australia in 2007 from New Zealand’s Christchurch, his unmistakable sound is the product of seven years of dedication and experimentation. Following in the footsteps of no-one, nRt has solidified his place in New Zealand music as someone, and it is this individuality and strength of both his sound and message that is winning over Australia.
Floating throughout many musical groups and communities over his career so far including Karma Suitors, D.O.C, Brotherhood and Trillion, when caught alone two personas still exist. The separation of these two personas into accoustic Soul and trip-hop super producer afford his tracks the ability to suit any occasion or mood. The combination of these two personas result in an involving live journey.
